Hyderabad winters are gentle, but those cool early mornings can still affect puppies, seniors, short-coated pets and pets who are unwell. Here's how I suggest keeping them comfortable.
Every pet feels the cold differently
Give them a clean, dry bed away from draughts, and watch how they handle the cooler mornings. Some pets enjoy a light sweater, but don't overdo the layers. Make sure clothing never restricts movement.
Keep their routine steady
Keep up their walks, fresh water and usual meals. If appetite, weight or energy suddenly changes, don't put it down to the weather. Let us take a look.
Brush a little more often
A quick brush helps you spot dry skin, mats, lumps or ticks early. Use only products made for your pet's species and coat. If you're unsure, ask us during a grooming visit.
Trouble breathing, collapse, severe weakness or symptoms that get worse quickly need immediate veterinary care.
